My prayer from Song of Songs - 1:1-5

Songs 1:1 The song of songs, which is Solomon's
My prayer: The prayer that comes forth from my lips

Songs 1:2 Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for your love is better than wine.
My prayer: Let the Lord have an intimate relationship with me. His love is more enduring than the most enduring addiction of wine.

Songs 1:3 Because of the smell of your good ointments your name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love you.
My prayer: His love displayed through Him being crushed for me, produces a most pleasing and good aroma, and for this reason I, a virgin in Christ, love Him.

Songs 1:4 Draw me, we will run after you: the king has brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in you, we will remember your love more than wine: the upright love you.
My prayer: Extend your grace to me Lord, and enable me to follow you. I will rejoice and be glad as my King hides me in the most private part of His heart. We will remember your love more than wine, the upright will love you.

Songs 1:5 I am black, but comely, O you daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.
My prayer: I am darkened by sin, but protected in the shade by the Son, through His blood.
