Biblical Hebrew Quick Tips

You don't need to be an expert in Hebrew to study the various words in the Old Testament. The Hebrew used in the Bible is not as hard as you would think it to be. Here are some quick tips to keep in mind as you study words of the Bible.

1. Use the Vines Expository Dictionary as a study accompaniment to begin with.

2. Most Hebrew words have 3 consonants and 3 vowels. For e.g. My wife's name is Neelam. So the consonants in her name would be N, L, M. The vowels are EE and A.

3. The consonant usually alternates with the vowel.

4. The last vowel is usually always silent.

That's what you need to remember when studying Hebrew!
